ever and everywhere
Wrecked by love, she wept so profusely, And Love's fire had so burnt him deeply. Spun into harshness, she went blind, For heaven she sought, escape he finds. She sat by the corner in Winter, flooded by tears, He watched the clouds, yearned the end of years. Her mind with darkness desecrated, His heart with grief so pervaded. But God called them both to listen, The singing of birds, the mews of kittens. For Spring thawed the cold Winter, And life will still go on forever. And so their minds set on things anew, Their lives cross under the tree of yew. Eyes and smiles gave both away, Spring began, Cupid again at play. Love makes her blind, yes it will, But Love too lit her world a rainbow hue. And this puzzle of Life he will not miss, Running into the arms of joy and bliss. Ever and everywhere.
